A COLLEGE is holding an event to inspire Waltham Forest black teenagers in their education and careers.
The London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE) is to open its doors to young black teenagers and their families on Saturday, October 10, for a one-day free event called 'Black to the Future'.
It will feature inspirational speakers from London's African-Caribbean community, workshops and speakers addressing parents on issues such as supporting their children through the educational process.
The conference is on October 10 in the New Academic Building at The London School of Economics from 10am to 4pm.
It is open to African-Caribbean students aged 13 to 16 from London and their families, teachers and youth-group leaders.
