COMMUTERS are invited to have their say on a plan to re-open a direct rail link between Chingford and Stratford.
The Chingford Line Users' Association (CLUA) is giving you the chance to air your views about the Hall Farm Curve.
Cllr Terry Wheeler is calling for the line to be re-opened to enable Waltham Forest residents to benefit from jobs provided by the Stratford City development and the Olympic Park.
He will ask London mayor Boris Johnson to include the line in projects planned between 2014 and 2019.
Campaigners had called for the line to be brought back into use in time for the 2012 Olympic games.
A proposal to re-open Lea Bridge Station as part of the regeneration of the Lower Lea Valley will also be discussed.
Commuters will also be able to quiz the Jonathan Denby, corporate affairs director at National Express East Anglia, which runs the Chingford to Liverpool Street line.
The meeting takes place on Tuesday (October 13) at The Welcome Centre, 8 Church End, Walthamstow, and starts at 8pm.
