PUPILS at Woodbridge High School have been fine tuning their ping-pong skills after the installation of six brand new tables.
The school, in St Barnabas Road, Woodford Green, received a grant of £3,000 from the Ford Britain Trust to purchase the equipment - which has been installed in its grounds for use at break times.
Teacher, Jeremy Clifton, said the tables have been well used since their arrival.
He added: "We have been able to purchase a number of outdoor table tennis tables for the pupils to use during their breaks and after school.
"They have proved to be very popular and are in use all the time. We are grateful to Ford Britain Trust for their generous donation of £3,000 which has had a real impact on the outdoor ambience at Woodbridge.
"The students are busy and active throughout the day with the new tables adding another exciting activity in which they can participate."
