A GLORIOUS melting pot of music, comedy, poetry and other cool stuff takes place this Saturday (October 17) at Ye Olde Rose and Crown pub in Walthamstow.
Among all kinds of crazy acts are indie tunesters Detox Cute and the Beauty Junkies, along with Ruby and Her Whorses.
Tickets are £5 in advance or on the door, and things get buzzing at 8pm.
This Friday (October 16) at Walthamstow's Plough Inn it's another Tunnel Vision night with rocking four-piece Graham Larkbey and the Escape Committee.
Support comes from singer-songwriter Steve White, who plays acoustic punk songs about “Life, Leyton Orient and Walthamstow Dogs”. Also playing is Sally Vinson.
Things get going at 8.30pm and entry is free.
On Saturday (October 17) the same venue hosts an intriguing Bluegrass night.
The night sees performances by the The Spangles Gang. Doors open at 8pm for an 8.30pm start.
On Sunday (October 18) Walthamstow Folk Club presents an evening with group Mawkin:Causley to celebrate the release of their debut album 'The Awkward Recruit'.
Entry is £6, or £5 for concessions, and start time is 7.30pm.
Monday (October 19) is free Blues Jams Night, starting at 9pm.
Also on Monday over in Leytonstone, the East Size Jazz Club at the Lord Rookwood presents performances from Chris Batchelor and Julian Siegel.

This Thursday (October 15) at the Standard in Walthamstow, Club Bus Wind puts on another storming night of unsigned rock goodness.
Acts playing include the Maharajas, Stickman Army and Mungo Park Road. Entry is £5 with a band's flyer, £6 without, and doors open around 8pm.
On Friday (October 16) the esteemed venue hosts Alice Cooper tribute act School's Out. Doors are at 8pm and entry is £9.
Meanwhile Saturday (October 17) sees a headline set from Stray, with support from the Steve Boyce Band.
Entry is £10 and doors open around 8pm.
Monday night (October 19) sees another Singaround night at Waltham Abbey Folk Club. Entry is a marvellous £1.50 and things kick off around 8.30pm.
Next Wednesday (October 21) it's another sizzling What's Cookin' night at the Sheepwalk in Leytonstone.
The main course on the menu – if you'll pardon the awful cooking wordplay – is rock n' roll n' rhythm n' blues explosive group The Stoned Holy Rollers.
Support comes from Gary Lammin and Darrell Bath, otherwise known as the Street Dogs Lives.
One interesting snippet about Mr Lammin is that he was once asked to play second guitar for the Sex Pistols, but alas he turned them down because he was having too much fun with his own band, Cock Sparrer.
