A WALK-ON part in a film and Michael Jackson's autograph were just some of the items which helped raise a whopping £25,000 at a charity auction in Chigwell.
Celebrities galore including Pop Idol star Gareth Gates, TV funnyman Bradley Walsh and actor Billy Murray all turned out for the event at Woolston Manor Golf and Country Club at the weekend, which was held in aid of disabled children's organisation the Rhys Daniels Trust.
The event saw a fund-raising golf game during the day, followed by an evening of entertainments and furious bidding at the auction.
Alongside signed items from the likes of George Michael and Tiger Woods, actor Craig Fairbrass even sold off a part in his new film Dead Cert.
Fund-raiser Barry Daniels said the event had proved a big success.
He said: “We're very pleased with how it went and we are very fortunate to have so much support from everyone.”
