HAIRDRESSERS at a salon were in the pink when they raised more than £500 to help fight breast cancer.
Staff at Hob Salons, in Loughton High Road, decided to hold the day in aid of Breakthrough breast cancer in their second year supporting the charity.
As well as much dressing up, there was also a raffle and donations were made as part of a Guess the Sweets in a Jar game.
Salon owner Kelly Ly said: “It went really well and we raised £550. We had pink cakes and drinks just to make it a bit of fun.
“Thee clients all loved it. They think it's a really good idea. We like to do something every year to raise money for charity and it was the funnest way we could think of doing it.”
