FIRE crews were called out twice last night to suspicious blazes at a derelict Indian restaurant.
Three fire engines were sent to The Haque Empire, in Ongar Road, Fyfield, at 9.23pm last night (October 13) after reports that the building was on fire.
The blaze was put out at around 11pm but firefighters stayed for some time damping over the ground.
At just after 4am this morning they were called out again to find that the restaurant was once more alight.
Fire officers believe that both fires were started deliberately, and a joint police and fire service investigation has been ordered.
