I FEEL really let down by Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg and local Lib Dem leader John Macklin.
I was really attracted to voting for the Liberal Democrats next year but now it looks like they have decided to abandon their flagship policy of scrapping tuition fees, leaving me feeling let down and angry.
Didn’t Nick Clegg visit Walthamstow recently? Surely John Macklin could have tried to stick up for students who are toying with the idea of going to university but are frightened by the prospect of big debts.
This education policy, along with a more relaxed attitude to drugs, showed a degree of maturity I have not seen in other parties. Now I am not sure I can be bothered to vote at all. I am sick of being told one thing one day only to see it change the next.
