KING Harold Day is coming to town this Saturday with the promise of medieval fun for all.

The annual event, in Waltham Abbey, and centred around the Abbey Church, promises living history re-enactment, music and performance.

Sweete Harmonie will sing medieval songs, The English Companions will be on hand to discuss Anglo-Saxon life, and the Chingford Morris men will be dancing the night away.

Visitors will have the opportunity to chance their arm at archery, tour the Abbey Church and take in a display of heavy horses, and birds of prey.

Events take place all day from 10am to 4pm with admission, including a programme, at £2.50 per adult, and £1.50 for senior citizens, with children who are accompanied by an adult free of charge.
