WORKS to improve the safety and security of a railway station continue this weekend.
Leyton Midland Road railway station is being revamped with new CCTV, information boards, lighting and signs.
Works will continue this weekend while the station remains open and are expected to be finished by the end of the year.
Managing director of Transport for London’s (TfL) London Rail, Ian Brown, said: “The improvement works are a welcome move forward for Leyton Midland Road station. They will improve our passengers’ travelling experience.”
