A NURSE is to swap the sterile corridors of Epping's St Margaret's Hospital for a Thai jungle when she goes on a fund-raising expedition next month.
Philippa Dooher, who is lead breast care specialist nurse and advanced breast practitioner at the unit, embarks on the 10-day trek next month to raise funds for breast research and enhanced facilities for breast patients.
She said: “I shall be hacking may way through jungle and bush and sleeping under canvass for the whole ten days which will be quite an adventure.
"But it’s for a good cause and I am determined to keep going.”
