A PERSON was rescued from a car which crashed in Chingford.
The emergency services were called at 4.12pm today after two cars crashed in Station Road.
London Ambulance staff managed to release the injured person from one of the cars and took them by ambulance to hospital.
Two fire crews attended and erected screens around the vehicle and made the scene safe.
Police also attended the crash, which happened opposite the Co-op supermarket.
The road has now been cleared.
