POLICE are continuing to investigate the fatal road crash on the M25 yesterday between Theydon Bois and Navestock.
Two lorries and a car were involved in the collision at 11.30am on the anti-clockwise stretch.
A 63-year-old man from Coventry was pronounced dead at the scene and formal identification will be carried out today.
A 23-year-old lorry driver from Spalden, in Lincolnshire, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of dangerous driving and continues to be questioned by police.
The accident caused traffic chaos for drivers as all lanes remained closed until 5pm when one lane was re-opened, the other two were re-opened by highways at 7pm.
Delays were also experienced on the clockwise direction because of people slowing down to see what had happened.
