A HAUL of stolen property could belong to people in the Epping Forest District police have said.
Essex Police have recovered a number of items of property and jewellery which they believe was stolen from households in May or even earlier this year.
The items consist of a Fender blue and white guitar, a Fender amp, Sony Cybershot camera, Nikon Coolpix 2100, Sony Handycam, a lilac suede jewellery case and various items of jewellery including brooches, necklaces, bracelets and a pocket watch.
One lapel badge has the words United Birmingham Hospital Physiotherapy School and the other lapel badge states Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
The items were discovered following the arrest of two unemployed men aged 33 and 15 who were tracked after they failed to stop for police on the M11 near Loughton.
They were eventually arrested in Ilford on suspicion of taking a motor vehicle and burglary.
DC Lee Pudney said: “If you have been a victim of theft or burglary and believe some of this property may be yours, please contact CID at Loughton police station on 0300 333 4444.”
