A PARENTING charity was given a real boost when it raised over £6,500 at a 'Nearly New Sale'.
The Redbridge branch of the National Childbirth Trust held the sale at Christchurch Hall, in Wanstead Place, and invited people from across Redbridge to bring items to sell on October 10.
Once staff had counted the day's takings they were delighted to learn they had raised over £6,500 for the charity thanks to the 350 visitors who attended. The next sale will take place on March 27 next year.
