A SPECIAL talk is to be given on the life and times of Paul Robeson.
Hosted by Leytonstone's News from Nowhere Club, it takes place on November 14 and will be held at the Epicentre, in West Street.
Billed as 'a late addition to Black History Month' Joe Stead will speak on Robeson's rise from being a 'white man's lackey' to a powerful spokesman for black human rights.
The talk will begin at 7.30pm and will be followed by a buffet at 9.30pm.
The club exists to 'foster fellowship and challenge the commercialisation and isolation of modern life'.
