POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a fight erupted outside Faces nightclub in the early hours of Sunday morning.
A 24-year-old man needed hospital treatment for facial injuries after the incident, which took place opposite the bar in Cranbrook Road, Gants Hill.
A police spokeswoman said: "We are appealing for witnesses after a fight broke out outside Faces Nightclub between two males in the early hours of Sunday morning.
"The 24-year-old victim was assaulted and sustained a badly bruised eye and chipped tooth.
"The victim was taken to Whipps Cross Hospital and received treatment for his injuries and is awaiting scan results.
"One male has been arrested but police are keen to speak to anyone else who may of witnessed the incident."
