DOZENS of children with special needs had a ball when they took part in a special football tournament in Loughton.
The event, organised by the West Essex School Sports Partnership in conjunction with the Essex Football Association (FA) Soccability Scheme, saw more than 30 youngsters aged between seven and 11 take part in a series of exciting matches and training from FA coaches.
The 'Footability Festival', at Debden Park High School in Loughton last week, was held as part of a scheme to encourage children with educational and physical special needs to take up the sport.
