Islington-based abstract painter Bill Kennedy, who sadly passed away last year, is lovingly remembered in a touching retrospective at Lauderdale House, Highgate, until Sunday, November 8.
Curated by Bill’s widow, Mary and son, Iain, the free exhibition, Tell Them Billy Boy Was Here, features a collection of colourful works inspired by the Canadian-native’s love of north London and his second home in South-West France.
“Painting was his life,” Mary says.
