MONSTERS, witches and even the devil all swooped in on a Buckhurst Hill nursery last week for a special Halloween Party.
More than 30 delighted tots at Queens Nursery and Pre-School in Queens Road joined staff and parents for the event, which saw a spooky disco, a fancy dress parade and a game of pin the stalk on the pumpkin.
Many of the children, aged between two and five, turned up in their own custom-made outfits, dressing as everything from their favourite superheroes to skeletons.
Nurse manager Anna White said the youngsters had a great time – despite the spooky costumes.
She said: “The children weren't frightened at all, they absolutely loved it.
“I think the staff and parents really enjoyed it too – there were a lot of people dressing up. We all had a lovely time.”
