AT LEAST one person is thought to have been stabbed outside a pub in Wanstead this afternoon.
Police sealed off Wanstead High Street as 14 police vehicles and an ambulance were called to the scene.
Witnesses reported seeing at least one male, believed to be a schoolboy, stabbed in the lower back outside The George pub between 3.45pm and 4pm.
Police cordons were still in place at 5pm.
A fight involving around 20 school pupils took place immediately before the stabbing, onlookers said.
