A TEENAGE choir girl rubbed shoulders with the stars on the red carpet at a film premiere.
Thirteen-year-old Eleanor Maloney, a Highams Park School pupil, sang at the world premiere of the3-D Disney animated Christmas Carol, bumping into film stars Jim Carey and Colin Firth and stars from the X-Factor.
She said: “There were lots of screaming fans and everyone was smiling. It was really exciting because everyone was listening to me sing. It was a great experience.”
Eleanor performed as part of the New London Children's Choir, which she has a member of for three years.
She has previously performed at the Royal Festival Hall and recorded a Coca Cola television advertisement with the group.
Her proud mum, Sheila Maloney, of Gordon Avenue, Highams Park, said: “It was great as all the stars were walking past them as they were singing.
"I have seen her perform many times, but this was a particularly proud moment for me.”
