PUPILS and staff at Leytonstone School have raised funds for a charity aimed at helping trafficked children and children forced into prostitution.
A total of £262 was raised at the school, in Colworth Road, with a 'pure pamper party', to be donated to End Child Prostitution and Trafficking (ECPAT).
The party was hosted at the school and female staff, friends and family were treated to an evening of manicures and massage in aid of the charity.
The money will be presented to ECPAT at a special Year 11 assembly, to be held at the school in December.
A spokeswoman for the school said: “It is a great charity. We would like to thank Lush in Lakeside, Bees Jewellery in Green Street and Cupcake Avenue in Mornington Crescent for their support.”
