A GROUP of transvestites are set to invade a Loughton bar tonight to help raise money for premature babies.
The 'Globe Girls', who have performed for the likes of Elton John and Beyonce, will be performing at the Nu Bar in High Road, Loughton, at the event held to raise money for Woodford Green-based charity The Lauren Page Trust.
Tickets are £25 on the door, and there will also be a charity raffle.
The trust was set up by Claire and Nick Page following the death of their daughter Lauren who was born prematurely.
The charity raises money for consultant obstetric physicians who deal with women who are affected by serious health problems when pregnant, and also collects cash for Whipps Cross Hospital and Kings College hospitals' baby care units.
