PEOPLE across a town are being invited to join in with its annual Light up a Life ceremony.
A torchlight procession will take place from Loughton Methodist Church, in Loughton High Road, to Kings Green from 4.30pm on Saturday, November 28.
Carols will be sung before short addresses are made by members of Loughton Town Council, St Clare Hospice, and Churches Together in Loughton.
The lights on the tree will be switched on and people will then be invited back to the Methodist Church for refreshments.
Donations accepted for the event will go to St Clare Hospice, in Hastingwood.
To make a donation call the town council on 020 8508 4200 or St Clare Hospice on 01279 773750.
