A DETERMINED young television presenter has shown off his organisational skills by arranging a celebrity charity night in aid of young victims of war.
Andre Spence, of Summit Drive, Woodford Green, hit the headlines in 2007 when he drove a white tank to school to celebrate his birthday - and has since fronted shows on MTV and other satellite channels.
Now the zany 20-year-old has decided to coax his growing band of celebrity friends into helping him raise money for War Child, by attending his Beg, Blag or Borrow charity evening.
The former Davenant Foundation School pupil hopes the event, which is due to take place at Matter, in the O2 Arena on December 20, will generate thousands of pounds for the organisation - which supports youngsters affected by conflicts across the globe.
He said: "It's taken a hell of a lot of work to put this together but it's in a good cause so it's been well worth it.
"There should be lots of well known people there on the night, including Bianca Gasgoigne and hopefully members of the Tottenham Hotspur squad.
"It would be great to have as many people as possible join us."
Tickets for the evening - which will run from 8.30pm until 4am - cost £35.
