AN OLYMPIC star from the days when British gold medals were a rarity will be hoping to spot some talent of the future on a visit to an Epping Forest primary school.
Duncan Goodhew, who won gold in the 100 meter breaststroke at the 1980 Moscow Olympics will be making a splash at Buckhurst Hill Community Primary School on Wednesday where he will be hosting a sporting masterclass.
He will be talking to pupils about the sports that they enjoy, fitness routines, and the ups and downs of a career as a professional sportsman.
The swimmer who has forged a new career as a motivational speaker, is currently mentoring three young British medal hopefuls ahead of the 2010 games.
