AN investigation has been launched into a blaze that destroyed an aircraft hangar on Sunday.
Fire crews were called to the site in Fyfield at about 7pm on Sunday night and said work was held back by a "severe lack of water".
The entire building was alight at the height of the fire, it was reported.
The structure housed vehicles, aircraft parts and propane cylinders.
Crews from Ongar and Leaden Roding tackled the fire in about two hours.
