TWO Scouts have been honoured with a prestigious award for their hard work and dedication.
Kwaku Adu-Baah, 12, from the 52nd Epping Forest Scout Group and Joshua Thomas, 14, from the 3rd Epping Forest Scout Group are both from Woodford Green. They were presented with the Jack Petchey Foundation Achievement Award at a ceremony at Sir James Hawkey Hall on November 12.
Kwaku was commended for his efforts to get involved with every activity his troop offers, while Joshua has not missed a single week of Scouting and is very popular with all his fellow members.
The Jack Petchy Foundation is based in Ilford and was set up in 1999 to help celebrate the achievement of people aged 11 to 25 across London and Essex.
