CHAMPAGNE and canapes will be enjoyed by guests at a special charity evening held to raise money for children with cerebral palsy.
More than one hundred guests have paid £30 each to attend the black tie event on Monday, November 30 - to generate funds for the Rose Walton Centre in South Woodford.
Organisers hope the invitation-only evening, at Demetri's Greek Restaurant in Woodford Broadway, will raise more than £2,000 for the facility, which provides specialised nursery education services for children with cerebral palsy.
Helen Jackson, who works at the Rose Walton Centre - in Crescent Road - said it should be a night to remember.
She said: "The evening will consist of champagne, canapes served to you and a buffet later on in the evening which will be a mixed Greek mesa both meat and vegetarian.
"We are very lucky to have several members of The Magic Circle doing magic tricks.
We also have a fantastic singer Harry Martin who will be entertaining us throughout the evening by singing Rat Pack music.
"We will also be holding auctions and a raffle during the event.
