A GROUP of teenagers sucessfully completed a t-shirt printing course as part of a scheme to help them shape their future.
The course was run by OG Clothing Co in Wood Street, Walthamstow, in conjunction with Waltham Forest Borough Council, to help disadvantaged or vulnerable teenagers.
Company director, Abi Aslam, who opened the shop and fashion training academy last year, said he was impressed with enthusiasm of the students.
He said: "Some of these young people do not like standard education and hence they rebel from the system, we here have created something that is not only great fun it is also engaging.
"Recently there have been more stabbings in Walthamstow. I just want to help these young people to focus away from the negative and into positive activities that they enjoy and can lead to qualifications, awards, work experience, self development, self employment and ultimately a fresh, challenging focus in life."
