THE inquests into the deaths of 52 people killed in the July 7 London bombings are to be held next year – five years after the terrorist attack.
Lady Justice Hallett, a court of appeal judge, has been appointed by the Coroner for the Inner West London to conduct the inquests, with pre-inquest hearings starting early next year.
Christian Small, 28, from Walthamstow, also known as Njoya, was a marketing executive and talented athlete who lost his life when a bomb carried by a terrorist exploded on a Piccadilly Line train.
His mother, Sheila Henry, has been unhappy with delays surrounding the investigations into her son's death and is calling for the Government to hold a public inquiry.
The inquests had been adjourned until the end of criminal cases linked to the bombings.
