A TOWN council has proclaimed an enthusiastic response to its annual Christmas card competition.
Loughton Town Council attracted entrants of all ages to its competition which has now been judged by mayor Ken Angold-Stephens and deputy mayor David Wixley.
The overall winner, whose entry will be made into the town council's official Christmas card, was Ben Ketteridge who also won the Infants category.
Angel Okoturo won the Juniors category and Nathaniel Greenleaf won the Adult category.
Each winner was awarded a £25 gift token and certificate while runners-up received a certificate.
A display of all the entries to the competition will be held in Loughton Library, in Traps Hill, from November 30 to December 15 and in Debden Library, in Epping Forest College, from December 15 to January 5.
A spokesman for the town council said: “Congratulations to all the winners and special thanks to all who submitted an entry.”
