IMAGINATIVE fundraising ideas helped school pupils make £4,000 for a cancer charity.
Pupils from King Solomon High School in Barkingside came up with a whole range ways of raising the cash, which was presented to Chai Cancer Care at a ceremony during school assembly this morning (Friday, November 27).
Dozens of pupils got involved in a mock reality show called 'The KS Factor' and many more put on a Chanukah song and dance show.
Willpower was put to the test during a series of sponsored silences during the school day and a 'Slave for a Day' event raised money providing that the 'slaves' obeyed their masters' every command.
Chai Cancer Care was founded in 1990 and offers care to cancer patients in the Jewish community across London.
