NEW mums interested in losing their post-natal pounds are being invited to try a new buggy-fitness class.
Mother-of-two Tanya Hurley has started up the class at Stonards Hill Recreation Ground, in Epping, to encourage mothers to exercise while keeping an eye on their children.
In her buggy fitness classes, mums bring along their prams to meet for a once weekly fitness session of walking, sprinting, and chasing.
Tanya, from Epping, said: “It's for mums who like to do exercise. I'm a mum myself and you just can't do it when you've got boys. You don't want to leave them, and with this you can bring them along and you get to meet other mums and have a great workout at the same time. It ticks all the boxes.
“I had just one person on my first day, now it's from eight to 15. From January I'm going to do two classes. The mums work really hard and it's great fun.”
Tanya's classes take place every Friday meeting at Stonards Hill Car Park for 9.30am.
