THE stage was set for two primary school pupils when they were asked to give a solo performance at a Royal Albert Hall charity concert.
Jordan Austen, ten, and Lucy Jenkins, nine, from Buckhurst Hill schools Daiglen, and Braeside, were picked from a massed choir of over 1,300 children to sing at a fundraiser for Barnardo's.
They formed part of the choirs sent by the two schools who sang a wide-range of songs before an audience of family and friends.
Jordan and Lucy's big moment came when they each performed solos during Just One Song from Snoopy.
Braeside headteacher Gillian Haddon said: "It was a truly professional performance by the evening and the memory of being part of that event will last a lifetime for everyone involved."
