CHRISTMAS wouldn’t be Christmas without the magic of The Nutcracker, and this week, the European Ballet is bringing its critically acclaimed production of the classic ballet to the Kenneth More Theatre.
Under the director of Stanislav Tchassov, a former principal dancer of The Bolshoi Ballet, the company of first class international dancers will bring to the stage Clara’s dream world where her toys come to life.
Featuring some of ballet’s most exciting moments, including the fearsome battle between toy soldiers and rats, and all set to Tchaikovsky’s glorious score, the performance is enhanced by more than 45 beautiful handcrafted costumes and colourful sets.
The Nutcracker runs at the Kenneth More Theatre from Friday, December 4 to Saturday, December 5. Tickets: 020 8553 4466 or www.kenneth-more-theatre.co.uk (£10-£14.50)
