I AM fed up with the parking problems in this borough and it’s about time some of our local politicians started trying to tackle this issue. Parking in this borough is currently poorly organised, expensive and not helping local traders.
In some areas, particularly during the day, there are plenty of unused spaces while people are at work. In other areas you could not get a hair between cars it is so jammed.
There just does not seem to be any consistency.
It hardly feels like we have got a particularly ‘green’ policy at the moment either and I wish more could be done to encourage people to use public transport.
I love living in Waltham Forest but parking is the bane of my life.
I am sure many residents feel the same way as me, so can the council recognise this issue and sort it out once and for all.
