A WOMAN suffered neck injuries when the car she was in collided with a lorry earlier today (Sunday December 6).
London Ambulance Service was called to the scene at the junction between Woodford New Road and Bunces Lane, to the rear of St Aubyn's School, at 11.27am.
The woman, who was a passenger in the car, had to be cut free from the white BMW, and was given treatment at the scene before being taken to Whipps Cross University Hospital.
One ambulance and two response cars attended the scene.
The car was eventually taken away from the crash site at around 2.30pm.
Indications are that the driver of the car was unhurt. No arrests have been made.
