A MAN charged with perverting the course of justice after claiming was abducted at knifepoint has appeared in court.
Noor Ramjanally, 36, of Valley Hill in Loughton, was arrested on September 3.
He had told police that he had been abducted from his home and driven into Epping Forest by men who ordered him to stop holding a Muslim prayer group at Murray Hall.
His hearing today (December 7) was adjourned to an undecided date from January 4 next year.
No plea has yet been entered.
