SPURS midfielder Giovani dos Santos is relishing the chance to play in the very first game of the world cup in South Africa.

The Mexico international could take part in the clash against South Africa.

"Just think about all the people around the world who will be watching that game and the interest in South Africa. It will be fantastic, a great honour" said excited Santos.

"The opening game of the World Cup has to be one of the biggest games in the world.”

Meanwhile, Wilson Palacios has left hospital in Merseyside where he was being treated after a collison in Sunday’s defeat at Everton.
