A GROUP of lucky youngsters from a Redbridge school enjoyed a holiday to remember when they visited the cultural sites of Barcelona.
More than 20 children from Caterham High School in Clayhall, made the trip to the Catalan capital where they took in a wide range of famous buildings, from the Nou Camp football stadium to Gaudi's Casa Mila.
The group also got to visit the city's Olympics complex, which was built for the 1992 Games - which included a tour of the Olympics museum and the imposing Olympic Stadium.
The youngsters also got the chance to take a brief break from the history and culture with a visit to the Tibidabo theme park where almost all of them got soaked on the log flume.
On the final day the group got to do a little shopping before a trip to nearby Girona for a brief lesson in Spanish history.
