FANS flocked to see one of their favourite authors in the flesh at a special book signing this week.
Jack Trelawny made an appearance at the Village Bookshop in High Road, Woodford Green on Saturday December 12, where he signed copies of his latest work, 'Colosseum of Dread'.
The new title is the sixth and final instalment of the Kernowland saga, and all the young people who came for the event, including ten-year-old Lorcan Canavan of St Antony's Catholic Primary School in Woodford Green, were eager to find out what happens.
Owner Alison Lawrence said: “We were delighted to have Jack Trelawny visit us to sign copies of his Kernowland series of books. Jack is a very popular local author and has faithfully included us in every one of his signing tours.
“It was a big day for us as 'Colosseum of Dread' is the final adventure in the series and the big question was: “Would Tizzie and Louis, the heroine and hero of the stories, get safely back to Cornwall?”. You will have to read the books to find out!”
