STORIES, performance and pie-throwing were all on the cards when an after-school club held its last session of the year.
Kidz Club, at Grosvenor Hall, in Grosvenor Drive, Loughton, decided to wind-up for 2009 on a high note and held a showcase evening of performances for parents and invited guests.
Members of the club's choir, dance academy, and school of rock all took to the stage, and prizes were handed out by Loughton mayor Ken Angold-Stephens.
Games were on offer throughout the day including a pie-throwing championship and a story-telling session about Christmas was held.
Kidz Club co-ordinator Katie Nicolson said: “It was a great success. All the kids were really pleased to be able to perform and there was a lot of fun and laughter.”
