THE only person arrested in connection with a mass brawl outside Epping nightclub One9Five in September has had his bail extended by police until March 2010.
The 46-year-old Harlow man, who has not been named, was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm following the fighting in Epping High Street and Cottis Lane in the early hours of Saturday September 26.
Eight men were stabbed and a further five were also rushed to hospital after the brawl, and the club was subsequently shut down by Epping Forest District Council over safety fears.
The arrested man returned to police yesterday (Monday December 21), but was told his bail had now been extended to Tuesday March 16, 2010.
He has not been charged with any offence.
A council licence hearing in October heard how as many 100 people were thought to be involved or caught up in the brawl.
