A RECORD number of people changed their names by deed poll in the UK this year, including a Chingford man formerly known as Adam Neil Osen.
Mr Osen, now known as None of the Above, is among 50,000 people who changed their names in 2009.
The 50-year-old reportedly picked the new moniker along with his brother "as a bit of a joke" and plans to use it to stand as an MP at the next election.
But he has said his wife hates it and refuses to change her own name.
Other unusual choices include Deathstroke Regina Chester Jefff Dave Dum Dee Dum Tumblepot, once Regina Dee Gardner, of Folkestone, Kent and Prince of Passion, formerly Mitch Prince, of Cumbernauld, Glasgow.
National Union of Teachers secretary for Waltham Forest Rinaldo Frezzato, once Ron Haycock, changed his name in July 2008 in order to get in touch with his Italian roots.
