STUNTMAN Terry Cole is aiming to break an astonishing 365 records in 2010 – one for every day of the year.
Mr Cole, 51, of Fleeming Road, Walthamstow, is aiming to send a series of records tumbling across Waltham Forest and further afield.
Mr Cole, whose famous hair-raising stunts for charity regularly make the headlines, has set himself a frenetic year ahead.
Over the next couple of months he will attempt his “winter” records, many of which will take place at Pumps Gym in Forest Road.
He will try to break records for one-arm push ups, squat thrusts and will attempt to balance a 25kg weight on his chin for the longest amount of time.
He will also attempt to balance a 100kg bar bell on his chin while walking around the track at Waltham Forest Pool and Track.
And at the Bahrain Formula One Grand Prix in March, he will attempt to go one better and balance a RACING CAR on his head.
Mr Cole said: “Nobody has ever done this many records in a year, it is different and a bit wacky.
“And it is better to read about something like this then of all the horrible murders which are happening too often now.”
Other record attempts will include juggling footballs at the World Cup in South Africa – and dribbling a ball for 24 hours.
Mr Cole is also planning to set records for eating, including seeing how many Ferrero Rocher chocolates he can eat in a set time.
He intends to persuade residents and businesses to sponsor him along the way and hopes to raise money for Haven House Hospice and Branches homeless charity, in Walthamstow.
