ONE of the borough's most tireless servants has been made an MBE in the New Year's Honours list.
Deputy Lieutenant for Redbridge Colonel Alan Hall has been honoured in the New Year's list for services to the borough over the last 20 years.
Col Hall has been involved in fundraising for numerous charities, including Haven House hospice in Woodford Green, the Helen Rollason Cancer Care Appeal and Drugsline.
He is a patron of organisations including the Scout Association, the president of the St John Ambulance Ilford Division, and the chief trustee of the Cystic Fibrosis Holiday Fund.
