A RADICAL muslim cleric has vowed to lead a protest march against the war in Afghanistan through the streets of Wootton Bassett, according to reports.
The Sun newspaper claims former lawyer, Anjem Choudary, of Ilford, said he would organise a demonstration against the conflict during the next few weeks in the Wiltshire town - where the bodies of many fallen British servicemen and women are repatriated.
The 42-year-old leader of the group Islam4UK - and former member of anti-semetic group al-Muhajiroun - condemned the arrest of Muslim protesters who booed troops parading through Luton early last year.
During a meeting in Walthamstow in March he told attendees that "freedom of democracy does not apply when it comes to Muslims."
