POLICE have appealed for witnesses after a man was mugged in a busy street by a gang of masked teenagers.
The 20-year-old was attacked by a group of four youngsters in Barley Lane, Ilford, at about 6.40pm on December 30.
The gang, who were all thought to be aged between 16 and 18 years, took the man's wallet, mobile phone and MP3 player and ran off towards Priestly Gardens.
The robbers are all described as black, and were wearing hooded tops, baseball caps and had scarves masking their faces at the time of the attack.
